The Alters Update 1.1.0 Fixes Story Bugs, Achievements, Crashes, and Localization Issues

11 Bit Studios has released update 1.1.0 for The Alters, addressing a wide range of issues reported by players in recent weeks. This update focuses on fixing multiple story and quest progression problems, particularly those affecting rebellion events, character interactions, and side missions. Critical quest blockers in various acts, such as ACT2’s main storyline and the handling of rebel Alters, have been corrected to ensure smoother gameplay for both new playthroughs and ongoing saves.

Beyond quest-related fixes, the update improves localization accuracy, voiceovers, and performance stability across platforms. Crashes, collision issues, and achievement triggers have been addressed, along with over 50 other minor fixes and optimizations. Players on PlayStation 5 and Steam Deck will also see specific crash fixes, while gameplay systems like mood effects, HUD scaling, and production logic have been refined.
