Rebel Wolves has officially confirmed that The Blood of Dawnwalker will release in 2026. The announcement was made through a newly published video celebrating the new year, described by the studio as a Launch Year Special. While the developers did not provide a specific release date, they stated clearly that the game is planned to arrive this year, with additional updates promised in the months ahead.

The video reflects on the project’s development journey over the past year, beginning with its initial reveal and subsequent public showcases. According to the presentation, the game was first revealed in January, followed by a gameplay reveal in June. Additional appearances took place throughout the year at major events, including Gamescom, PAX, and the Poznań Game Arena, where playable demos were shown. The developers emphasized that community feedback has played a central role in shaping the game as development has progressed.

Rebel Wolves confirmed that their game will release in 2026, with more updates coming soon. The video revealed the main theme song, new artwork, and introduced two previously unseen female characters who will play supportive roles in protagonist Coen’s journey, hinting at their narrative importance.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is the debut title from Rebel Wolves, a studio founded by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz. The game is set in an alternative version of 14th-century Southeast Europe and follows Coen, a character who lives as a human during the day and a vampire at night. This dual nature is reflected directly in gameplay, with mechanics and options shifting depending on the time of day.

Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the game is built around a narrative sandbox structure with a strict in-game time limit. Players are given thirty days to complete their objective, making it impossible to experience all content in a single playthrough. Published by Bandai Namco, The Blood of Dawnwalker is currently confirmed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam, with its 2026 release now officially locked in.
