Nexon has deployed a minor but important hotfix for The First Descendant, labeled version 1.2.19, applied without requiring server maintenance. This update focuses primarily on quality-of-life improvements, bug resolutions, and interface updates across all supported platforms, including Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
A notable addition in this hotfix is the enhancement of content visibility through the inclusion of the “Spoils Box” in the Acquisition Info for Mutant Cells and within the Library’s Miscellaneous tab. Players can now also set the Spoils Box as a Target Reward, improving reward tracking during progression. Another valuable change is the streamlined party interaction: when players join a party via the Recommended Parties list, they are now immediately directed to the Party Recruitment screen, allowing for clearer team coordination and party management.
Bug fixes in this update address a variety of issues. Jayber’s “Assault Turret” has been corrected to function properly against destructible mission objectives. Furthermore, errors involving module capacity display and loadout information inconsistencies have been resolved. Updates to the Albion base interface now ensure that default entry locations are saved correctly and reflected in real-time. Additionally, several user interface and tooltip inconsistencies have been fixed, including inaccurate skin category labels and event page loading errors. Visual effects for the Ice Maiden boss regeneration sequence have also been restored.
