The First Descendant Update 1.3.8 Enhances Weapon Performance, Rewards, and UI Functionality

by Ali Haider

Nexon Games has released Update 1.3.8 for The First Descendant, addressing a number of gameplay, weapon, and system-related issues following the 1.3.7 client version. To ensure stability, all players were temporarily logged out before the deployment of the new patch, which focuses on improving content balance, refining weapon mechanics, and enhancing overall gameplay fluidity.

This latest update brings notable adjustments to the Void Vessel Medium-Sized Facility Zone, where storage boxes now offer increased chances to yield rare crafting materials such as Ultrafine Particle Alloy and Photon Quantum Crystal. Weapon tuning highlights include significant improvements to the Ultimate Weapons “Shadow” and “Deus Ex Manus,” each receiving sprint speed boosts, damage recalibrations, and better attack functionality. The update also includes a broad range of bug fixes and user interface improvements, aiming to deliver a smoother experience across all supported platforms.
