The King is Watching Update 1.0.3 Adds Mid-Run Saving and Major Balance Changes

by Ali Haider

The long-requested mid-run save feature has finally arrived in The King is Watching with the release of update 1.0.3. Players can now safely quit and resume progress after any completed wave, ensuring greater flexibility for extended play sessions. This update also brings technical improvements and fixes for issues related to particle systems, unit management, and spell calculations.

In addition to stability enhancements, update 1.0.3 introduces several balance adjustments. Bosses such as Graveyard Golem, Malathrax, and Venoxia receive significant stat increases, while various troops see HP and damage changes. Spell durations for Fireworks have been extended, and multiple kings have had their abilities and costs rebalanced for better gameplay fairness.
