The Outlast Trials Deep Burn Event Returns with New MK-Challenges and Updates

by Ali Haider

Red Barrels has rolled out a fiery new update for The Outlast Trials as the Deep Burn Limited-Time Event makes its return. This seasonal event brings dangerous new hazards, including fire mines, flamethrowers, and the relentless Pitcher, creating a more intense and hazardous experience for Reagents. Players will also encounter new variators, such as extinguishing fires across Trials, adding extra layers of challenge and strategy. A limited-time catalog is also available during the event, offering exclusive cosmetics that can only be unlocked with event tokens before October 7.

Alongside the event, the update introduces two fresh MK-Challenges: Traffick the Product and Disrupt the Neighborhood, each expanding Murkoff’s twisted therapy trials with unique scenarios. In addition, the Evidence Documents menu has been revamped for easier lore exploration, and several balancing changes and bug fixes have been implemented, including adjustments to Escalation Therapy, Otto and Arora rebalancing, and variator improvements.
