Tormented Souls 2 has received a major free New Game Plus update, now available across all platforms. The new mode unlocks after completing the game once and significantly increases the challenge with more enemies and additional jumpscares.
Alongside the heightened difficulty, players gain access to new weapons, hidden collectibles, and a bonus costume for Caroline. A special ending tied to the New Game Plus mode further expands the experience for those willing to uncover every secret.

New Game Plus Mode
- Unlocked immediately after completing the game for the first time

New Weapons
- Introduced Electric Lance, a close-range experimental weapon that delivers a lethal shock
- Added Flamethrower, a high-damage weapon that sets enemies ablaze
New Secrets and Endings
- Added twelve Nuclear Batteries collectibles scattered across Villa Hess
- Collecting all Nuclear Batteries unlocks the secret of the mechanical device at the ruined Train Station
- Achieving the true ending in New Game Plus unlocks a special ending inspired by classic survival horror roots
Bonus Content
- Added New Game Plus exclusive Mature Caroline bonus costume
- Costume available in the Convent Guest Room wardrobe at the start of a New Game Plus playthrough

- Released Tormented Souls 2 Accolades Trailer celebrating award nominations and sales milestone
Tormented Souls 2 launched on October 23, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. Developed by Dual Effect and published by PQube, the update is available now on all platforms.
