The new 1.3.3 update for Tormented Souls 2 delivers a broad set of fixes aimed at improving stability and preventing progression blockers. This patch resolves the softlocks that persisted in 1.3.2 while correcting major gameplay issues related to achievements, puzzles, item handling, elevators, enemy behavior, and environmental interactions. Players should now experience more consistent progression through complex areas such as the Cemetery, Processing Plant, and School, thanks to smoother camera transitions, corrected triggers, and stable object logic.
Beyond gameplay corrections, the update refines multiple visual and audio elements to strengthen immersion across key scenes and environments. Lighting, textures, cutscene presentation, and sound effects have been adjusted to improve clarity and responsiveness. Several localisation issues have also been resolved to ensure proper text display and accurate room naming. Overall, the update offers a steadier and more polished experience throughout Caroline Walker’s investigation of Villa Hess.
