Turok 2 Patch 3.0 Fixes Multiplayer and Platform Issues

Turok 2 Patch 3.0 is a stability and polish-focused update addressing a wide range of visual, interface, and multiplayer-related issues. The patch resolves problems affecting chat, scoreboards, team display, textures, and weapon behavior across both single-player and multiplayer modes.

The update also includes numerous platform-specific fixes for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Steam Deck, and GOG, alongside improvements to cross-platform multiplayer functionality. Overall, Patch 3.0 aims to deliver a cleaner and more consistent experience across all supported platforms.

Gameplay and Visual Fixes

  • Fixed a destructible wall using an incorrect texture in the River of Souls stage
  • Fixed an issue where weapons could disappear in certain areas of the game
  • Fixed weapon clipping through walls and objects in multiple locations
  • Fixed flickering issues at death locations after respawning on City5, Bullseye, Caverns, and Lair of Oblivion maps
  • Fixed flickering issues when players jump or remain idle during multiplayer matches
  • Fixed flickering shadows near the first Warp Portal in Port of Adia The Village
  • Fixed brief corrupted textures appearing after selecting difficulty for the first time
  • Fixed brief corrupted textures appearing after selecting a save for the first time

Multiplayer Fixes

  • Fixed placeholder text appearing instead of player usernames in session chat
  • Fixed incorrectly displayed team colors after player death in multiplayer
  • Fixed visibility of opponent team chat during Playfab multiplayer sessions
  • Fixed issues where teams were not displayed correctly in multiplayer matches
  • Fixed issues where string text appeared on the scoreboard in Last Turok Standing mode
  • Fixed scoreboard sorting to correctly display kills in descending order
  • Fixed an issue preventing scoreboard navigation during splitscreen when opened by one user
  • Fixed an issue where holding the Display Scoreboard input caused repeated opening and closing
  • Fixed an issue where the Cerebral Bore did not auto switch weapons when out of ammo in multiplayer
  • Fixed an issue where ping values could display as negative in LAN lobbies
  • Fixed cross-platform lobby visibility issues between Steam users and console users

Platform Specific Fixes

Steam Deck

  • Fixed an issue causing the Chat Message function to behave incorrectly

Nintendo Switch

  • Fixed an issue where the Options menu failed to display under certain conditions
  • Fixed a yellow border appearing before the Iguana Entertainment intro cutscene
  • Fixed an issue where the game resumed while still in the Pause menu when docking or undocking

PC

  • Fixed HUD corruption when using specific settings

GOG

  • Fixed an issue preventing creation of Playfab multiplayer sessions

PlayStation 4

  • Fixed a random crash when using the Firestorm Cannon in Raptor Fest mode

General Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where chat visibility and session behavior were inconsistent
  • Fixed multiple texture, UI, and multiplayer-related problems

Turok 2 Seeds of Evil Patch 3.0 is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
