Two Point Museum Adds Free Digiverse Update With Dredge Crossover

by Greg Martin

Two Point Studios has released a free update for Two Point Museum that introduces the Digiverse, a new expedition map featuring themed rifts, crossover content, and quality-of-life improvements. The update is now available on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox as of August 28, 2025.

The Digiverse expansion begins once players unlock the second star in the Memento Mile level. The initial rollout features two rifts: Meat Wizard and Dredge. Each rift includes new points of interest, decorations, and exhibits designed to broaden museum customization and exploration options.

One of the central additions is a collaboration with Black Salt Games’ fishing title Dredge. Within this rift, players explore the Grey Isles, encounter three new points of interest, and collect ten unique fish species. The crossover also introduces aquarium-themed decorations and new staff outfits. However, as in Dredge, nighttime exploration is intentionally more hazardous, aligning with the atmosphere of the original game.

The Meat Wizard rift, inspired by a fictional franchise within the Two Point universe, takes players into a retro-styled digital setting. It features four points of interest, interactive displays, and opportunities to hire experts capable of crafting “Power-Ups.” These items, once placed in the museum, provide functional bonuses that affect guest engagement and donation rates.

In addition to new content, the update expands accessibility with language support for Latin-American Spanish, Thai, and Russian. Two Point Studios has also implemented a series of technical improvements, bug fixes, and optimizations. Full details of these adjustments are available on the studio’s official blog.

The studio has indicated that the Digiverse will expand further in the future, with more rifts and features planned. This suggests that the update is part of a longer-term content rollout strategy rather than a single release.

Two Point Museum is the latest entry in the studio’s management simulation series, which began with Two Point Hospital and later expanded with Two Point Campus. The Digiverse update is available at no additional cost to all players on supported platforms.
