Ubisoft Connect Celebrates Fifth Anniversary with Free Immortals Fenyx Rising Giveaway

by Greg Martin

Ubisoft is celebrating the fifth anniversary of its cross-platform ecosystem, Ubisoft Connect, by offering Immortals Fenyx Rising free for PC players beginning November 13, 2025. The initiative commemorates five years since the service’s launch and acknowledges the millions of players who use Ubisoft Connect each month to access games, track achievements, and play across multiple platforms.

Launched in 2020, Ubisoft Connect unified the publisher’s online services across consoles and PC, replacing the previous Uplay and Ubisoft Club systems. Since its debut, the platform has introduced key features designed to streamline player experiences, including cross-progression, cross-play, and synchronized achievements.

Cross-progression was first implemented in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in November 2020, allowing players to continue their progress across devices. Cross-play followed soon after and was later adopted by major multiplayer titles such as Rainbow Six Siege in 2022. This year, Ubisoft expanded its cross-platform achievements system — initially launched with Assassin’s Creed Shadows — which now supports synchronization across Ubisoft Connect, Steam, and the Epic Games Store for more than 50 titles.

In addition to these service enhancements, Ubisoft has completed a redesign of its PC client, introducing a streamlined interface aimed at improving navigation and accessibility. The update marks the end of the client’s beta phase and establishes it as the central hub for Ubisoft’s digital ecosystem.

To mark the occasion, the company is offering Immortals Fenyx Rising free of charge on PC via the Ubisoft Store and Ubisoft Connect client. The open-world action-adventure title, inspired by Greek mythology, originally launched in 2020 and received positive reviews for its lighthearted tone, puzzle-driven exploration, and stylized art direction. The free offer is available for a limited time, though Ubisoft has not specified an end date for redemption.

Ubisoft stated that it intends to continue expanding the platform in the coming years, promising further integration across services and more community-driven features. The publisher has also invited players to share feedback and suggestions through its official Discord server, noting that user input plays an active role in shaping the platform’s development.

Ubisoft Connect now serves as a central hub for the publisher’s growing ecosystem of live-service and single-player titles, supporting millions of users globally.
