The 2.2.0 update for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Definitive Edition delivers a wide range of fixes across gameplay, multiplayer, user interface, and technical stability. From addressing desync errors and crashes to refining campaign scripts and AI behavior, the patch enhances overall game reliability and balance. Key gameplay updates include adjustments to Honor Guard units, AI construction behavior, and faction-specific improvements such as squad cap changes for the Sisters of Battle.

Multiplayer has also received important fixes, including restoring custom banners and colors in Automatch, removing the ability for hosts to kick players during countdowns, and improving automatch ranking display.
