Warhammer 40K Darktide Update 1.11.3 Fixes Crashes

Fatshark has rolled out update 1.11.3 for Warhammer 40,000 Darktide, focusing on resolving stability issues and gameplay bugs. The patch addresses several crash scenarios and fixes problems related to enemy spawning during missions.

Additionally, improvements have been made to Expedition mission tracking, ensuring successful runs are properly registered. While the update is relatively small, it targets key issues impacting gameplay consistency.

  • Fixed issue causing enemies to spawn too early at the start of certain missions
  • Fixed crash occurring when large numbers of enemies spawned with additional visual effects
  • Fixed crash occurring while inside tornado events during Expeditions
  • Added safeguards to prevent successful Expedition missions from being incorrectly marked as failures

Known Issues

  • Players may enter Expeditions as dead when hot joining during Sanctuary transitions
  • Some grenades can be used inside Sanctuaries
  • Certain new Sanctuary items cannot be tagged
  • Texture issues may occur on AMD GPUs
  • Players may hot join private matches via Quickplay matchmaking
    • Fix planned for a future hotfix
  • Xbox-specific issue where textures may load slowly, displaying low-quality assets temporarily
  • Investigating increased GPU crash rates related to FSR frame generation on AMD Radeon RX 9xxx series
