The fourth major content update for Wreckfest 2 has arrived, bringing a mix of fresh content, customization tools, and performance improvements during its Early Access phase. Headlining this update is the introduction of CRAP-IT™, a new bodywork customization feature that allows players to apply rust, scratches, decals, and other cosmetic effects to vehicles, all visible in multiplayer matches. The update also debuts a new track, Crash Canyon 2.0, and a new off-road vehicle, the Buggy, expanding both racing diversity and crash potential.
Beyond new content, this update delivers significant improvements across the board. Gameplay physics have been rebalanced for more realistic vehicle handling, AI opponents now better match difficulty settings, and the audio system has been re-engineered for greater immersion. Technical upgrades include improved stability, reduced VRAM usage, and expanded support for ultra-wide and multi-monitor setups. The developers have also refined online play with better matchmaking, network precision, and telemetry support for dedicated servers.
