Wuchang Fallen Feathers Fully Utilizes PS5 Pro, Offers Three Performance Modes With Up To 80 FPS

505 Games and Leenzee’s upcoming Soulslike action role-playing game, Wuchang Fallen Feathers, appears to take full advantage of the PS5 Pro, offering 3 performance modes.

The page for Wuchang Fallen Feathers on the official PlayStation website has been updated with new details regarding the range of performance modes offered by the game for both PS5 and PS5 Pro. Specifics regarding graphics settings and resolution metrics across the 3 modes, namely Quality, Balanced, and Performance, have not yet been revealed for either console. However, we now know what kind of frame rates can be expected.

The range of graphics options available for both PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles in Wuchang Fallen Feathers can be seen below.

PS5

  • Quality mode: 30 FPS
  • Balanced mode: 40 FPS
  • Performance mode: 60 FPS

PS5 Pro

  • Quality mode: 60 FPS
  • Balanced mode: 70 FPS
  • Performance mode: 80 FPS

In its Quality mode, the base PS5 version of Wuchang Fallen Feathers will target a frame rate of 30 fps with the highest possible graphics and/or resolution settings on the console. For those who play on 120 Hz displays, Balanced mode will deliver a frame rate of 40 fps with some cutbacks to visual and/or resolution settings. Lastly, Performance mode will target the highest possible frame rate of 60 fps with a further drop in graphical quality and/or resolution.

On the other hand, the PS5 Pro version of Wuchang Fallen Feathers will target a frame rate of 60 fps in Quality mode, doubling the frame rate of the base console. For those who play on 120 Hz displays, Balanced mode will deliver frame rates over 60 fps, averaging at around 70 fps. Lastly, Performance mode will target the highest possible frame rate, delivering an average of 80 fps.

Those playing on 120 Hz displays with VRR support can benefit from the 60+ fps Balanced and Performance modes available on PS5 Pro. On the other hand, those seeking the best possible graphical quality may opt for the Quality mode on Sony’s mid-gen console and run the game at a frame rate equivalent to that of the base PS5’s Performance mode.
