Xbox Game Pass May Be Teasing the Arrival of a Major Recent RPG in March

Xbox Game Pass may be teasing the addition of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 to its subscription lineup in March. The official Xbox Game Pass social media account shared an image of an internal style email from its fictional public relations persona, Melissa McGamepass, continuing a long-running gag. However, the wording of both the email and the accompanying caption has led many fans to believe a major RPG announcement is imminent.

The email, titled More March announcements, included a suggestive line that read, “Oh, and speaking of upcoming releases… well, I shouldn’t say too much, but if you’re getting quite hungry for a fun adventure, all I can say is that something big is about to be deliverance’d to Xbox Game Pass….” The message concluded with a tongue in cheek reminder to keep the information private. The official account then quoted the post with the caption, “huh, that’s a weird way to spell ‘delivered'”.

The emphasis on the word delivered has drawn attention from fans, many of whom interpret it as a direct nod to Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. The original Kingdom Come Deliverance is already available on Game Pass, adding weight to speculation that its sequel could follow. While no formal confirmation has been issued, the timing aligns with broader March announcements teased by the account.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is an open-world action role-playing game developed by Warhorse Studios and published by Deep Silver. Released on February 4, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and Windows PC, the sequel continues the story of Henry of Skalitz amid the political conflict of 15th-century Bohemia. The game expands significantly on its predecessor, featuring a world roughly twice the size, centered around the city of Kuttenberg, and introducing new gameplay elements such as early firearms and crossbows.
