A Plague Tale Sales Surge After Resonance Reveal

PULLUP Entertainment has reported strong back catalogue performance for the first quarter of FY2026/27, with the A Plague Tale sales receiving a significant boost following the announcement of Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy.

According to the company’s financial report, more than 500,000 combined copies of A Plague Tale: Innocence and A Plague Tale: Requiem have been sold since Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy was unveiled in early June 2026. The publisher also said the upcoming title has achieved record wishlist numbers for the franchise across all platforms around 50 days before its August 27, 2026 release.

The report suggests the announcement of Resonance renewed interest in the series, driving increased sales of the earlier games.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 also continued its strong commercial performance. PULLUP Entertainment said the game sold more units during the first quarter of FY2026/27 than it did in the same period of FY2025/26, making it one of the biggest contributors to back catalogue revenue.

The publisher highlighted several other titles that performed well during the quarter, including Absolum, Atomic Heart, John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, RoadCraft, SnowRunner and Train Sim World.

PULLUP Entertainment also reported positive early player interest in recently announced projects such as Bradley The Badger, Magicians: The Devil’s Deal and Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster. The company confirmed it currently has 14 projects in development, including Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Gallipoli, Road Kings, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 and BioEden.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, PULLUP Entertainment generated revenue of €44.4 million, down 44.0% year over year. New releases contributed €1.9 million, while back catalogue revenue reached €40.1 million. Excluding deferred revenue accounting, back catalogue revenue remained broadly stable at €39.3 million compared with €39.4 million during the same quarter last year.
