NPD Analyst Mat Piscatella has shared the two different list of games. NPD usually shares sales result from the markets in the USA and Canada. The following are the top 10 best selling PS4 games of all time as of August 2019.

- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Call of Duty: WWII
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
- Marvel’s Spider-Man
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
- God of War
- NBA 2K18
- Battlefield 1

This list feels fairly boring because it is full of yearly Call of Duty games, or NBA 2K218 and Battlefield 1, both of which are fairly active but popular games within their own genre. The surprise here is the inclusion of both God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man while Rockstar leads the top two spot with Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Here is the list of the top 10 best selling PS4 exclusives of all time. This list is more interesting because it removes all of the multiplatform games. Days Gone makes the cut despite launching in April early this year and this shows that the game did sell very well.

The second list has some nice surprises like Horizon Zero Dawn selling more than an established IP like Uncharted 4. God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man also occupy the top two spots respectively. Days Gone launched in April but has already made the cut for this list while the bottom is full of the yearly MLB games that are exclusive to PS4.
