The Last of Us Part 2: Details On Collector’s, Special, and Ellie Edition
Naughty Dog has revealed the release date for The Last of Us Part 2 and shared some information on the various different retail editions of the game.
The Last of Us Part 2 will be out on February 21, 2020. The game will reportedly ship on two discs. Ellie is taking the lead role for the sequel but fans can also catch a glimpse of Joel in the release date trailer.
Naughty Dog has shared the details on the various editions of the game that will be available to pre-order starting from today. First, we have the Digital Deluxe edition which is only available from the PlayStation Store. The pre-order bonus for this version includes an avatar featuring Ellie’s tattoo and the following in-game bonus.
- Ammo Capacity Upgrade: Instantly unlock an ammo capacity upgrade for Ellie’s pistol.
- Crafting Training Manual: Instantly unlock the Crafting Training Manual, which provides access to new crafting recipes and upgrades.
Next up is the Special Edition of the game. This version includes the Full game, 48-page mini art book, Steelbook, Avatar set, Dynamic theme. This will set you back $79.99.
Now the more expensive editions are given with a Collector’s Edition and Ellie Edition. Here are the contents of the two editions as shared by Naughty Dog.
The price for the Collector’s Edition is set at $169.99 while the Ellie Edition is the most expensive edition of the game. It is priced at a premium and available for $229.99.
