Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Dragon Ball Z Kakarot First Reviews Are Out

Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Dragon Ball Z Kakarot both received their first review scores. Here’s how the critics have judged two of these upcoming games.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the seventh game in the series. It is the first game to feature a brand new protagonist and also the first one to offer a completely new battle system. The turn-based battle system that is seen in Yakuza: Like a Dragon is different from the other games in the series.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is an upcoming action RPG from CyberConnect2. They rose to fame with the Naruto Shippudden series and they were also attached to work on Final Fantasy VII Remake before Square Enix took complete charge of the project. Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is a lengthy game and it appears to have scored decently by Japanese magazine Famitsu.

Surprisingly, the new Yakuza game has received quite a high score from Famitsu. The only other game in the series to score higher is Yakuza 5 which received a perfect score. This should bode well for the game which has made a bold decision to ditch some of the series traditional gameplay elements like the combat system.
