Assassin’s Creed Invictus Is Allegedly A Fall Guys-Like Multiplayer Game

Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed Invictus is allegedly a multiplayer game similar to Mediatonic’s platformer battle royale game, Fall Guys.

Known leaker j0nathan, who had previously leaked details regarding Assassin’s Creed Mirage prior to its announcement, has shared that Assassin’s Creed Invictus will be similar to Fall Guys, where the currently decided player count of 16 players will compete in several rounds featuring various “games”.

According to the insider, among the game types will be a team deathmatch, free-for-all, a speed game where players will be required to go to luminous points scattered across the multiplayer map. Those who qualify for the next round will be able to choose from different types of powers in order to create a build that will be used in the final match.

j0nathan mentioned that two characters who have been confirmed to be a part of Assassin’s Creed Invictus are Ezio and Cesare Borgia. As per him, the gameplay will be very arcade-ish, with characters taking hits without real impact and even a bubble shield like the one seen in the Super Smash Bros games. He also revealed that the game’s camera will be drawn out farther from the playable character, making the latter look relatively small in size. Furthermore, he said that the maps featured in Assassin’s Creed Invictus will be based on sections from the world maps seen in other Assassin’s Creed titles. There will be a map based on Baghdad from Assassin’s Creed Mirage), Japan from Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Paradise Island (likely from Assassin’s Creed Black Flag), and Pompeii.

Previously, the same insider had shared alleged details regarding Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ storyline. According to him, one of the game’s two protagonists is called Yasuke. The game starts off as him being a slave on a ship. The ship is then assaulted by a group of pirates, leading to everyone, including his wife, getting killed.
