Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Update 1.007 Brings 40 FPS Support On PS5 and XSX

Ubisoft has released a new update 1.007 for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora today that appears to have added 40 FPS support for PS5 and Xbox Series S|X.

Title Update 3.2 has been released for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, providing players with fixes and improvements across different platforms. The size of the patch download varies on each platform, with the PS5 version requiring 2.4 GB, the Xbox Series X/S version needing 3.1 GB, and the PC version downloading 3 GB.

Notable improvements include the addition of a 40 FPS mode for Xbox Series X/S and PS5, which enhances the gaming experience for players on these platforms. Additionally, PC players will enjoy the enabled Intel XeSS Super Sampling, which improves the visual quality of the game.

A Fast Travel option has been added to Research Station Alpha, which makes it more convenient for players to navigate the game world. Furthermore, controller re-mapping no longer resets upon game restart, providing a smoother gameplay experience.

Several technical fixes have been implemented, including the rollback of AMD FSR3 on PC. Despite this rollback, certain improvements introduced with the upgraded version, such as enhancements to UI composition, have been retained.

Main quests and side-quests have received attention as well. An issue that prevented the update of the “Shadows of the Past” quest in co-op mode has been resolved. Additional bug fixes address various issues across all platforms, such as rescued Resistance human characters no longer appearing with masks on in the Resistance HQ and NPCs becoming invisible at the edge of the player’s vision.
