Beat Saber Update 1.90 Released For PC and PS5 [Patch Notes]

by Ali Haider

The latest update for Beat Saber, featuring version 1.37.3 for PC and 1.90 for PS4, brings forth several essential fixes to enhance the overall gaming experience. Particularly, a significant fix addresses the #accidentalchipmunk bug, known for causing audio distortions when players adjust the speed of the level, thereby improving the game’s stability. Furthermore, the update rectifies the song length for “Enemy” by Imagine Dragons, ensuring its accurate duration during gameplay. Additional improvements include the resolution of a visual issue with the “KDA” environment override and the fixing of missing geometry on the opponent’s runway, which previously failed to span the entire stage.

Moreover, the update introduces various enhancements to the Level Editor, notably addressing the display of song and author titles during Testing Mode, previously shown as “!Not Defined!”. The update also resolves an issue with the Audio Latency slider in the Settings menu, where values above 30ms were not being saved.
