Game Science’s action role-playing game, Black Myth: Wukong, features a secret boss fight that players have managed to discover after logging over 150 hours of playtime.
A diehard fan of Black Myth: Wukong has discovered a hidden variation of a boss fight that only occurs if players meet certain requirements. The boss in question is Yaoguai Chief Father of Stones, and his hidden version packs a different and much more aggressive move set.
How To Access The Secret Boss In Black Myth: Wukong
In order to access the secret version of the Yaoguai Chief Father of Stones boss fight in Black Myth: Wukong, players simply need to make sure that they kill the skeleton in his hand first. Doing so is necessary to trigger his more aggressive variant. An easy way to accomplish this is by aiming charged pillar heavy attacks directly at his hands.
As for the significance of the skeleton in the boss’ hand, the skeleton belongs to a young girl who escaped her abusive parents and sought shelter with the Stone Father. They became friends, but people from her village came looking for her, causing trouble for both. Not wanting to create issues for the Stone Father, she tried to leave quietly one night, but she slipped and tumbled down the mountain to her death.
The Stone Father found the girl’s body and attempted to take her to the woman who gives the Destined One the fan at the end of Chapter 5, hoping she could heal her. However, the woman confirmed that the girl had been dead too long for her to be able to help. The Stone Father then continued holding onto her remains, hoping for a miracle, until all that was left was a skeleton. The Destined One ultimately grants him mercy by ending his suffering.
