It appears that Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War multiplayer and zombies are receiving a facelift with a new high-resolution texture pack.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Warzone had received a new high-resolution texture pack just last month, but additional content was discovered for them recently. As spotted on the PlayStation servers, three additional texture packs are available to download for the game. They are labeled as follows: Multiplayer High-Resolution Pack, Zombies High-Resolution Pack, and Dead Ops Arcade High-Resolution Pack.
We don’t have any official announcements related to these texture packs so chances are that they might be part of an upcoming update. Based on their file size, they appear to be substantial for a texture update and might end up bumping the overall file size of the game, which is already massive enough for the SSD in the current-generation consoles.
The file size of this texture pack is also huge for the multiplayer. It is roughly 16.5 GB for multiplayer, 7.5 GB for the zombies, and 3.5 GB for Dead Ops Arcade. If you weren’t impressed with the quality of textures, then perhaps this new additional content will satisfy your desire.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
