The first major post-launch update for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has arrived, bringing a host of fixes aimed at improving the user experience across various platforms. Patch 1.2.3 focuses on correcting visual and gameplay issues, particularly for players using ultrawide monitors or the Steam Deck. Menu backgrounds, stretched UI elements, and resolution-related cutscene problems have all been addressed, while players can now expect more stable and responsive input with mouse and keyboard configurations.
Additionally, this update resolves multiple world map navigation issues where players could get stuck between objects or in terrain. Character-specific bugs affecting Esquie’s mobility, especially around flying bridges and levitating structures, have been fixed. Several weapons and skills received balancing adjustments, and narrative or quest-related progression bugs were corrected. This patch marks the beginning of a planned series of updates from the developers, with further improvements under investigation.
