Dead by Daylight Bugfix Patch 9.2.3 Improves The Shape, Fixes Haunted by Daylight Bugs, and Stabilizes Gameplay

by Ali Haider

Behaviour Interactive has released Bugfix Patch 9.2.3 for Dead by Daylight, introducing several gameplay fixes, balance changes, and technical improvements across multiple Killers and maps. This patch re-enables The Twins and The Houndmaster in the ongoing Haunted by Daylight event, following their temporary removal due to prior instability. Additionally, significant changes have been made to The Shape (Michael Myers), enhancing his Evil Incarnate Mode and Slaughtering Strike for smoother responsiveness, improved speed, and greater reward potential.

Alongside Killer adjustments, the update delivers numerous fixes to event-related visibility bugs, audio inconsistencies, map collisions, perk behaviors, and character interactions. The developers note that this is part of a two-step improvement process for Slaughtering Strike, with further refinements planned for the next Public Test Build (PTB).
