Dead by Daylight Is Another Free PS5 Game Thanks To PS Plus
Dead by Daylight has a free upgrade on the PS5 if you own a PS Plus subscription. It was offered for free on PS4 and appears to carry over to the PS5.
Dead by Daylight was one of the free PS Plus games that were given to the subscribers back on the PS4. After the developers announced a free PS5 upgrade, we wanted to check if the upgrade applied to the PS4 version was given on PS Plus.

We can now confirm that this is indeed the case. If you own Dead by Daylight on the PS4, you should be able to head to the PlayStation Store and see the option to add the upgrade to your library.
This upgrade gives a native PS5 version of the game. If you don’t have a PS Plus subscription or failed to add the game to your library when it was available on PlayStation Plus, there is, unfortunately, no way to claim this offer.
Dead by Daylight will run at 4K and 60 FPS on the PS5. It will offer updated animations, lighting, visual effects, modeling, and textures. The developers are planning to release this visual overhaul for every console, however, the resolution will likely be higher on the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
