Dead by Daylight is adding Art the Clown from the Terrifier film franchise as a new Killer on November 24, 2026. The upcoming chapter also introduces Sienna Shaw as a Survivor and the new Hartshorne Mall map. The content is available now through the game’s Steam Public Test Build.
Art’s Killer power, Bag of Toys, lets him pull random weapons from a trash bag, including a flail, flamethrower, firearm, bottle of acid and a bike horn. Each successful hit makes his weapons more dangerous, eventually allowing him to knock down injured Survivors and execute them. Every weapon also has its own Mini-Mori animation.
Art comes with three unique Perks. Funny Business grants a temporary haste boost and a random additional effect whenever he damages a Generator. These effects can include blocking Generators or triggering a burst of confetti. Kill Spree lets Art kill the remaining Survivors once all Generators are completed and every Survivor has reached two Hook States. Laughingstock makes Survivors near completed Generators suffer the Exhausted and Oblivious status effects.
The character also brings a new feature for Killers: expressive emotes. Players can use Art’s signature facial expressions and gestures to taunt Survivors, including pointing and laughing at hooked victims.
Sienna Shaw joins the Trials as a new Survivor. Haunted by tragedy and connected to Art through supernatural events, she has three character-specific Perks.
Best Gift Ever allows Sienna to drop items to gain powerful passive abilities. Shared Trauma lets nearby Survivors within 12 metres recover from the Exhausted status while running whenever Sienna takes a protection hit. Valkyrie’s Rage gives her an extra-powerful pallet stun after being chased by the Killer.
The update also introduces the Hartshorne Mall, a new original map designed around abandoned storefronts and unsettling corridors. The Entity has transformed what was once a familiar shopping centre into a disturbing version of itself, adding the liminal spaces requested by parts of the Dead by Daylight community.
The map also contains potential lore details involving Dwight Fairfield, who experienced a traumatic encounter with the Entity after getting lost in the mall as a child.
Dead by Daylight: Terrifier launches officially on November 24, 2026, following its current availability through the Steam Public Test Build.
