For the uninitiated, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster features a higher on-screen zombie count compared to the original, completely reworked environments, improved texture work, improved lighting, improved shadows, some additional post-process effects, and a completely different look for protagonist Frank West. While there is a major graphical overhaul here over the 2006 original, it isn’t some sort of a re-imagining of the game. As such, the original experience is largely preserved albeit with some major audiovisual and Quality of Life enhancements.
