Diablo IV does not appear to feature different graphics modes. It runs a native resolution of 4K and a frame rate of 60 fps on the Xbox Series X. Meanwhile, the Xbox Series S version runs at a lower native resolution of 1080p while also targeting a frame rate of 60 fps. While it wasn’t mentioned by Fergusson, going by the technical findings from the recent open beta, the native resolution of the PS5 version of Diablo IV is 4K and it targets a frame rate of 60 fps, much like the Xbox Series X version.

Fergusson also talked about the game’s seamless shared open world, and how there is no loading when you move from zone to zone. He mentioned that the transitions are handled in the background, which includes the switching of servers when going from one zone to the next.

Previously, it was reported that Microsoft will release a Diablo IV edition Xbox Series X console to coincide with the game’s launch. According to Twitter user billbil_kun, who is known for leaking information regarding the PlayStation Plus lineup ahead of its official announcement, Microsoft will release a Diablo IV edition Xbox Series X alongside the game’s launch on June 6, 2023.

Diablo IV is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, and is the fourth main installment in the Diablo series. The game’s release date was revealed on June 12, 2022, after the game’s announcement on November 1, 2019 during BlizzCon 2019. While new elements like an open environment and pvp interactions will be added, series staples like re-playable, randomly generated dungeons and loot-focused character building will remain.
