Upcoming Dragon’s Dogma 2 Update Will Reduce The Threat of Dragonsplague

by Ali Haider

Dragonsplague has remained a big threat in the world of Dragon’s Dogma 2, but that will change after the release of a new update to the game.

Capcom has announced their plans for the next Dragon’s Dogma 2 update. One major adjustment is the reduction in the frequency of dragonsplague infection, along with making the signs of Pawns infected with dragonsplague more noticeable in the upcoming update to Dragon’s Dogma 2. This includes enhancements such as making the glowing eyes of infected characters more prominent.

Another notable addition is the option to zoom in on the faces of both the Arisen and Pawns on various screens such as the status screen and shops. This feature allows players to get a closer look at their characters’ facial details.

The patch also addresses several issues related to the mini-map functionality. One improvement is that treasure chests that have already been acquired will no longer be displayed on the mini-map, streamlining navigation and reducing clutter.

Furthermore, adjustments have been made to Pawns’ behavior and dialogue throughout the game. This includes fixes for issues where players couldn’t perform actions like high-fiving Pawns or initiating guiding sequences. Additionally, Pawns are now less likely to fall off cliffs, and the frequency of certain dialogue lines has been reduced for a smoother gameplay experience.

Improvements have also been made to Pawn dialogue, ensuring that their lines better match the circumstances encountered in the game world. Fixes have been implemented for issues such as Pawns stopping speaking outside of combat or Main Pawns speaking Support Pawns’ dialogue erroneously.
