Dune: Awakening Update 1.2.11.0 Adds Vehicle-to-Bank Deposits and Fixes Key Progression Bugs

by Ali Haider

Funcom has rolled out Update 1.2.11.0 for Dune: Awakening, bringing quality-of-life improvements and several important fixes aimed at improving stability, accessibility, and story progression. The highlight of this update is the newly added feature that allows players to deposit items directly into the bank from their vehicle’s storage when arriving at social hubs. This addition streamlines inventory management, removing the need for manual item transfers and making trading and resource handling more efficient for all players.

In addition to gameplay improvements, the update addresses multiple technical issues, including a server crash fix, a lowered minimum AMD driver requirement, and several bug fixes affecting loot containers, Twitch Drop rewards, and Chapter 2 quest progression. Players who previously lost their Poison Snooper during the story can now recover it automatically by re-entering the affected quest area. Together, these changes make the desert world of Arrakis a little less punishing—at least outside of the sandstorms.
