Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition may have received an unannounced release date for Nintendo Switch 2 through a new retailer listing.
Canadian game retailer PNP Games has added the upcoming Switch 2 version of Elden Ring to its online store with a listed release date of July 10, 2026. The page currently labels the product as a preorder item with an “Estimated ship date” attached to that date.
Neither FromSoftware nor Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially confirmed a launch date for the game at the time of writing, meaning the retailer listing should be treated cautiously until an official announcement is made.
Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition was announced specifically for Nintendo Switch 2 and is currently planned for release sometime in 2026 following multiple development delays.
The release is positioned as a definitive edition of the game, bundling the original Elden Ring alongside the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. The Switch 2 version will also include additional content exclusive to the platform, including two new starting classes and expanded customization options for the player’s mount.
Originally developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Elden Ring first launched in 2022 and went on to become one of the most successful games in the studio’s history.
Set across the Lands Between and the Land of Shadow, the game follows players in the role of a Tarnished seeking to restore the Elden Ring and claim the title of Elden Lord through challenging combat, exploration, and large-scale boss encounters.
