Battlefield 6 Update 1.3.1.0 Adds Season 3 Content and Major Gameplay Changes

Battlefield 6 Update 1.3.1.0 launches Season 3 with a large amount of new content, including the Railway to Golmud map, Ranked Battle Royale Quads, new weapons, and an expanded Battle Pass system. The update also introduces Battlefield Pro bonuses and additional REDSEC improvements aimed at competitive play and progression.

Alongside the seasonal content, the patch delivers extensive gameplay balancing and technical improvements across vehicles, weapons, gadgets, netcode, UI, audio, Portal, and Battle Royale systems. Several long-standing bugs and gameplay inconsistencies have also been addressed to improve overall combat flow and stability.

New Content

Season 3: Warlords Supremacy

  • Season 3 begins on May 12 with the Warlords: Supremacy seasonal chapter
  • Introduces a three-part seasonal rollout focused on global conflict escalation
  • Adds new progression systems, seasonal rewards, and gameplay content

Battle Pass

  • Added a new Battle Pass with more than 100 reward tiers
  • Includes weapon packages, soldier skins, XP boosts, hardware unlocks, and themed progression paths
  • Improved Battle Pass navigation and menu presentation
  • Fixed incorrect seasonal celebrations and pricing issues

Battlefield Pro

  • Added 25 Tier Skips
  • Added +5 percent XP Booster
  • Added six instant unlocks
  • Added exclusive Vehicle Radio Station
  • Added Bonus Path access
  • Added support for hosting up to 100 players in Portal

New Map

  • Added Railway to Golmud, Battlefield 6’s largest map yet
  • Features combined arms warfare with infantry, tanks, jets, and helicopters
  • Includes industrial areas, railway combat zones, villages, and large-scale open combat spaces

New Weapons

  • Added M16A4 assault rifle with burst-fire and automatic fire modes
  • Added L115 bolt-action sniper rifle for long-range combat
  • Added RPK-74M light machine gun focused on controllable sustained fire

REDSEC and Ranked Play

  • Added Ranked Battle Royale Quads
  • Added competitive ranking progression from Rookie to Elite 250

Vehicle Changes

Vehicle Overhaul

  • Reworked tracked vehicle steering and transmission systems
  • Improved tank aiming responsiveness and turret speeds
  • Reworked armor regeneration system
  • Increased vehicle regeneration delay from 6 to 12 seconds
  • Vehicles now regenerate to full health instead of health brackets
  • Reduced immobilization from heavy damage on tanks

Tank and Damage Adjustments

  • Rear tank hits now deal 200 percent damage
  • Side angle hits now deal 150 percent damage
  • Tank turret hits now deal 75 percent damage
  • Increased MBT health to 1200
  • Reduced APT health to 800

Battlefield 6 Update 1.3.1.0 launches alongside Season 3 on May 12. Battlefield 6 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game was developed by Battlefield Studios, including DICE, Criterion Games, Motive Studio, and Ripple Effect, and published by Electronic Arts.
