Fallout 76 Backwoods update adds Bigfoot, Season 24, and major armor and event overhauls

by Ali Haider

The Fallout 76 Backwoods update introduces Bigfoot as a 4 Star Legendary creature capable of crashing Public Events, alongside the launch of Season 24 Rip Daring and the Cryptids from Beyond the Cosmos. A limited-time event, Bigfoot’s Bash, significantly increases his spawn rate, while other high-threat creatures, such as the Wendigo Colossus and Deathclaw Matriarch, can now ambush events.

Beyond new content, the update delivers sweeping system-level changes. Events have been rebranded as Activities with a timed rotation system and reworked rewards, the Pip Boy has received major performance upgrades, armor weight has been reduced across the board, and several gameplay values, including Rad X and Med X effectiveness, have been significantly adjusted.
