Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves may have teased Reina from Tekken 8 as its next guest character, with SNK appearing to hide a reference to the fighter in one of its recent promotional videos.
The tease points toward an upcoming addition to the game’s DLC roster, although SNK hasn’t officially named the character. Reina would also mark another major fighting game crossover for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which has already added Street Fighter characters Ken and Chun-Li and Fist of the North Star’s Kenshiro.
The game is currently in its third season of post-launch content, titled Destined for Revenge. Season 3 launched on July 23, 2026, and is being released through a monthly schedule with a standalone price of $19.99.
Season 3 has already added Rick Strowd, Duck King, and Kim Kaphwan. Manjiro Sano and Ken Ryuguji are scheduled for October, followed by Laocorn in November. The December slot is currently listed only as an unidentified DLC character, which could be where the teased fighter arrives.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves originally launched on April 24, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X|S. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled to launch on October 22, 2026.
