Square Enix has announced a brand new version of Final Fantasy VII Remake for the PS5 that will also come with a DLC featuring Yuffie.
Final Fantasy VII Remake fans will be able to get their hands on this new DLC once the PS5 version arrives on June 10. This version of the game will come with improved visuals in addition to the new Yuffie DLC. Those who already own a copy of Final Fantasy 7 Remake can upgrade to the PS5 version free of cost. Additionally, the free PS Plus version of the game is exempt from this offer but will still be playable on the PS5 through backward compatibility, but miss out on the Yuffie DLC and improved visuals.
There are two trailers released for this game during the recent State of Play Presentation by Sony. One of them gives a glimpse at the new Yuffie DLC while the other one shows the new features of the PS5 version.
Here are some of the features that were shared by Square Enix in a press release.
The game runs at 1080p at 30 FPS on the PS4 and a checkerboard 4K resolution at 30 FPS on the PS4 Pro.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be available on June 10, 2021, for the PS5. While it was assumed that a PC version will be released once the timed exclusivity period expires for the game, this hasn’t been the case so far. The PS5 version can be bought for $69.99 and it is available from the PlayStation Store.
