Square Enix has launched a dedicated website to mark the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy X, accompanied by new artwork from character designer Tetsuya Nomura and a range of commemorative products. The update highlights the publisher’s plans to celebrate the milestone with books, music releases, and themed merchandise.
Among the reveals is the Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary Visual Art Book Eternal Spira, which compiles artwork from across the game’s history. The book includes newly drawn illustrations by Tetsuya Nomura created for the Kabuki adaptation, along with additional artwork of Tidus and Yuna. It is scheduled to release on July 3, 2026, priced at ¥2750, with approximately 128 pages in A4 hardcover format.
A second publication, the Final Fantasy X 25th Anniversary Memorial Album HD Remastered Version, will also launch on July 3, 2026. This release reconstructs the full story of the game using scenario text and HD remastered images, including movie scenes. The book is listed at ¥3520 and spans roughly 352 pages in B5 paperback format.
Music releases are also part of the anniversary lineup. The Final Fantasy X LP Vinyl Set Eternal Calm will launch on July 1, 2026, featuring 20 tracks from the original soundtrack across two LPs, along with a download code for MP3 versions. Additional releases include a compilation album centered on the track To Zanarkand and a House Grooves arrangement album featuring reworked music from the game.
The merchandise lineup includes plush toys of key characters such as Tidus, Yuna, Wakka, Lulu, Auron, Kimahri, Rikku, and Jecht, with prices ranging from ¥4400 to ¥4620. Pre-orders are currently open through the Square Enix e-Store, with a planned release in July 2026.
The anniversary site also introduces a new commemorative logo illustrated by Nomura and outlines a giveaway campaign offering themed items to selected participants. Square Enix has indicated that further updates related to the anniversary will be shared through the official page.
