Xbox has unveiled its lineup for Summer Game Fest 2026 Play Days, offering a closer look at a diverse range of upcoming titles that attendees will be able to experience firsthand. The showcase brings together developers from across the globe, highlighting projects from studios based in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Among the featured titles is Grounded 2, developed by Obsidian Entertainment in collaboration with Eidos Montreal. The demo focuses on a four-player cooperative encounter against a new lizard boss introduced in the recent Beat the Heat update. The sequel continues to emphasize community-driven features, including the addition of rideable Buggies that reshape exploration and combat within its expanded park setting.

Another notable entry is Aniimo, an open-world creature-collecting game from Pawprint Studio. Set in the continent of Idyll, the game allows players to bond with creatures known as Aniimo and transform into them through a system called twining. This mechanic alters both traversal and combat, offering a different perspective on exploration and interaction within the world.

Grave Seasons presents a contrasting tone, blending farming simulation elements with a darker narrative layer. Developed by Perfect Garbage in partnership with Blumhouse Games, the demo spans an in-game week where players can engage in activities such as farming and foraging while navigating a storyline that may involve preventing a murder. The game leans into the tension between familiar life simulation mechanics and underlying horror themes.

Action-focused players will find Gungrave Gore Blood Heat pushing its combat systems further, encouraging aggressive play through chained attacks, parries, and executions. Meanwhile, Valor Mortis, a first-person soulslike from One More Level, combines precise melee combat with parkour-inspired traversal in a reimagined Napoleonic setting.

Several experimental and narrative-driven titles also round out the lineup. Erosion introduces a roguelike structure where each death advances time, altering the world and its inhabitants. Dont Fret offers a surreal survival horror experience centered on a sentient guitar navigating a twisted music school. Way to the Woods delivers a quieter, atmospheric journey following a deer and its fawn through a mysterious environment, while My Arms Are Longer Now leans into absurd humor with a heist scenario played from the perspective of an unusually long arm.

Demo lengths across the lineup vary, with most experiences ranging from 20 minutes to around an hour, giving attendees a substantial hands-on look at each project. According to Xbox, the event is designed to provide players with early access to a wide selection of games while giving developers an opportunity to showcase their work directly to the public.
