Here Are The Games Leaving PS Plus Extra & Premium In December 2023

Here are the games that will be leaving the Extra and Premium tiers of the PS Plus subscription service in the month of December, 2023.

The PlayStation Store page has been updated to indicate the batch of games in the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog that will be making their exit from the service. Sony will be removing a total of 11 games from the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog in the month of December, 2023.

The currently known list of games leaving PS Plus Extra on December 19, 2023 can be seen below.

  • Caladrius Blaze
  • Damascus Gear: Operation Tokyo HD Edition
  • El Hijo – A Wild West Tale
  • Foreclosed
  • Friday the 13th
  • Legends of Ethernal
  • Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor
  • Middle-Earth: Shadow of War
  • The Escapists 2
  • Yakuza 6: The Song of Life
  • Yakuza: Like a Dragon

As always, this is the last chance for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers to show these games some love before they leave the service. Subscribers can always view the “Last chance to play section” on the PlayStation Plus Collections page on PS5, or the Games Catalogue section in the PlayStation Plus menu on PS4, for games they may be interested in checking out before they leave the service.

One of the prominent titles that are leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in December is Yakuza: Like a Dragon, a role-playing video game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega. It’s the first mainline title in the Yakuza series to adopt a turn-based RPG format. The game initially launched in Japan and Asia for PlayStation 4 on January 16, 2020. The western release, which occurred on November 10, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, featured additional content such as new costumes, an English audio track, and some previously paid DLC. This version, titled International, was subsequently released in Asia on February 25, 2021, for Windows and Xbox platforms. The game later released worldwide for PlayStation 5 on March 2, 2021, and became available on Amazon Luna on December 10, 2021.
