PS Plus Extra and Premium are set to lose 5 games in July, 2025, including Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games’ third-person shooter action role-playing game, Remnant 2.
The Last Chance to Play section (via Reddit and PSNProfiles) of the PlayStation Store has been updated to highlight the batch of games in the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog that will soon be getting removed from the service. Sony Interactive Entertainment will remove 5 games from the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog in July, 2025.

Games Leaving PS Plus Extra & Premium in July 2025
The updated list of games leaving PS Plus Extra during the remainder of July, 2025, can be seen below.
- Remnant 2 (PS5)
- Dying Light 2 Stay Human (PS4/PS5)
- Crisis Core –Final Fantasy VII– Reunion (PS4/PS5)
- Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong (PS4/PS5)
- Job Simulator (PS4/PS5)
As always, this is the last chance for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers to show these games some love before they leave the service. Subscribers can always view the “Last Chance to play section” on the PlayStation Plus Collections page on PS5, or the Games Catalogue section in the PlayStation Plus menu on PS4, for games they may be interested in checking out before they leave the service.
Other games that recently made their exit from the PS Plus Extra and Premium game catalog in June, 2025 include Monster Hunter Rise (PS4/PS5), After Us (PS5), Kayak VR Mirage (PS5), Rogue Legacy 2 (PS4/PS5), Inscryption (PS4/PS5), and Avicii invector (PS4).
Remnant 2 is a third-person action RPG shooter created by Gunfire Games and published by Gearbox Publishing. It serves as the follow-up to Remnant: From the Ashes and launched on July 25, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows. Building on the formula of its predecessor, Remnant 2 combines third-person gunplay with mechanics reminiscent of Soulslike games. Players can equip two firearms along with a melee weapon.
