One of the prominent titles that are leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in May, 2023 is Marvel’s Spider-Man, a 2018 action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It tells a unique story that is based on the Spider-Man character from Marvel Comics and draws inspiration from various media adaptations. The super-human crime lord Mister Negative plans a scheme to take over control of New York City’s criminal underworld in the main plot. While dealing with the personal issues of his civilian persona, Peter Parker, Spider-Man must confront Mister Negative when he threatens to unleash a deadly virus and defend the city. The game is played from the third-person perspective, and the primary focus of gameplay is on Spider-Man’s traversal and combat abilities.
