Xbox Games With Gold Announced For August 2022
Microsoft has announced the Xbox Live Games With Gold lineup for the month of August 2022. Here are the latest additions to library of subscribers.
Despite being long eclipsed by Xbox Game Pass, the Xbox Live Games With Gold service is still active and going strong. Microsoft adds two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 games to the service each month, though it will no longer offer Xbox 360 titles starting from October 2022. All of these games can be played on any of the existing Xbox platforms, as the Xbox 360 games included are available via backward compatibility on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
For August 2022, Games With Gold will offer the following lineup:
- Calico ($11.99 ERP): Available August 1 to 31
- ScourgeBringer ($16.99 ERP): Available August 16 to September 15
- Saint’s Row 2 ($9.99 ERP): Available August 1 to 15
- Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine ($14.99 ERP): Available August 16 to 31
In the sim game Calico, you are responsible for restoring the town’s dilapidated cat café. Create a persona, pick out some amusing attire, whimsically adorn your home for feline and human guests, and of course, fill it with the cute animals. You might even be able to ride your enormous cat to work if you use magical concoctions.
Meanwhile, ScourgeBringer is a quick-paced roguelite platformer. Your mission is to attack your foes and any bosses who are protecting the Scourge’s secrets. You may advance and, possibly, save mankind as a whole by using the mysteries and mementos of past explorers that are hidden within the ever-changing dungeon.
Saint’s Row 2 needs no introduction. You’ll take part in an open-world adventure that combines comedy and brutality and requires you to gain respect by any means necessary, rebuild the Saints, and reclaim your territory.
Lastly, Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine allows you to put together a skilled crew of thieves and pull off a heist. Eight colorful and highly competent characters—including a pickpocket, a locksmith, a cleaner, and others—are available for you to choose from. Each has a special set of talents. Play by yourself or with three friends, as you sneak past yachts and nightclubs.
