Gran Turismo 7 Pre-Load Date and File Size Details
Gran Turismo 7 will be out on March 4 but the pre-load will be available a lot earlier than the official release date since it has a beefy file size.
The file size along with the pre-load details was shared by a Twitter account, PlayStationGameSize, which keeps track of the PlayStation Database updates. According to this account, the game has a pre-load date set for February 25, which is more than a week before its official launch.
Gran Turismo 7 currently doesn’t appear to have a review embargo, but the press could already have access to it as seen with games like Horizon Forbidden West. The press had access to the game more than two weeks before it launched for the PS4 and PS5 on February 18.
Gran Turismo 7 Pre-Load Date and File Size
The pre-load date for Gran Turismo 7 is set for February 25 while the full launch will happen on March 4. The file size of the game has been revealed to be 89.45 GB but this is without any of the pre-launch updates. There is one already happening with a new Gran Turismo 7 version 1.02 available on the PlayStation servers.
We had previously reported that the minimum file size of the game is around 110 GB which is almost as large as GT Sport. This increase in file size happened along with the post-launch updates that added new content to the game.
Gran Turismo 7 will be available for the PS4 and PS5 on March 4, 2022.
