Granblue Fantasy Relink Rated In Germany, Release Date Possibly Coming Soon

Cygames’ upcoming action role-playing game, Granblue Fantasy Relink, has been rated in Germany, suggesting that a release date announcement is possibly coming soon.

Granblue Fantasy Relink had recently been rated in Germany by the USK. According to the details shared by the rating, the game contains “fantasy violence” and “pressure to act“, as a result of which it has been rated for ages 12 and above.

The rating describes “fantasy violence” as representations of violence that are characterized by a magical, fairytale or futuristic overall environment, and are clearly distinguishable from reality. Meanwhile, with regards to “pressure to act”, the game builds up direct or indirect pressure on the player to take action through the use of countdowns, timers and stressful game sequences such as boss fights or a high density of opponents, As per the rating, this can lead to stressful situations.

Mechanics integrated in the game that encourage certain actions “outside the game world” are also be taken into account. This includes, for example, comeback gifts or notices that an offer is about to expire.

Previously, it was reported that Granblue Fantasy Relink will feature over 100 side quests and can be played entirely in co-op with up to 4 players. The game made an appearance at this year’s Anime Expo, where attendees had the opportunity to try it out. During the event, Tetsuya Fukuhara, the general director of Granblue Fantasy, and Yasuyuki Kaji, the director of Granblue Fantasy: Relink, shared new details regarding the game. One such detail was that the game will feature over 100 side quests and can be played entirely in co-op with up to 4 players. Additionally, it was said that the game is playable entirely in co-op mode, and puts emphasis on high-speed battles, customization, and teamwork. It features a brand new storyline and will, therefore, be welcoming to newcomers.
