Grounded 2 update 0.6.0.4 is now live on all available platforms. The patch fixes several issues affecting quests, combat, building, and Playgrounds, including a bug that made Advanced Bushcraft uncompletable on some saves.
The update also addresses missing Dew Drops and Sap, an inaccessible Ranger Outpost hatch on older saves, and several crashes involving creature AI, combat, pets, buggies, and other gameplay systems. Obsidian Entertainment has also shared a workaround for O.G.G.R. spawning issues.

Workarounds
- O.G.G.R. spawning issues: Players should be able to resolve the problem by sleeping, then saving and loading the game. Players are asked to report the issue if this workaround does not help, so the team can continue investigating it.
Bug Fixes
World
- Fixed the Skunk Pond Ranger Outpost hatch being inaccessible on older version 0.4 saves.
Quests
- Fixed the Forgotten report being replaced by a washball. The report should now be present again.
- Fixed Advanced Bushcraft being uncompletable on some saves.
Combat
- Fixed an issue that allowed players to skip projectile weapon reloads by repeatedly pressing the interact button.
Building
- Fixed a brief loading screen appearing when looking around with certain structures.
- Fixed Dew Drops and Sap disappearing from the Dew Collector and Sap Catcher after saving and loading the game.
- Fixed an issue where paint would disappear after a save and load when viewed from far away.
- Fixed the Water Container failing to fill when a Dew Drop falls into it.
Playgrounds
- Removed unintended fog from custom Playground maps.
- Fixed a crash caused by placing an Everchar Diffuser on a Bubble Diffuser.
Stability
- Fixed several crashes involving creature AI, combat, pets, buggies, items, survival status effects, and loading screens.
- Fixed crashes related to building paint, the map, and perks.
- Fixed hangs on Xbox Series X when the game is suspended.
Grounded 2 (Game Preview) was released on 29 July 2025. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with Obsidian Entertainment and Xbox Game Studios handling development and publishing.
