Hasbro has announced a new multi-year licensing agreement with Nintendo to produce toys based on The Legend of Zelda franchise. The partnership will begin in 2027, with the first products set to be unveiled during San Diego Comic-Con, which takes place from July 23 to July 26, 2026.
The initial reveal will include 3 action figures in a 6-inch scale, marking the first wave of products under the new collaboration. Hasbro has not shared additional details about the figures or future releases.
“For decades, The Legend of Zelda franchise has captivated fans through its deep lore, unforgettable characters and enduring sense of discovery,” said Billy Lagor, President of Toys and Board Games at Hasbro. “By combining Nintendo’s iconic storytelling with Hasbro’s leadership in action and role-play, we’re delivering toys that invite fans to play, explore and forge their own epic adventures.”
First released in the US in 1987, The Legend of Zelda has become one of Nintendo’s longest-running franchises. The series is built around exploration, puzzle-solving and action-adventure gameplay, with the ongoing conflict between Link, Princess Zelda and Ganondorf serving as the central thread connecting many of its stories set across the kingdom of Hyrule.
More information about Hasbro’s upcoming The Legend of Zelda toy line is expected to be revealed during San Diego Comic-Con later this month.
