Hellblade 2 Review Embargo Lifts On Launch Day

The review embargo for Hellblade 2 appears to lift on the same date as the launch of the game, just an hour before it’s available. This is potentially to avoid any major story spoilers for the Ninja Theory’s upcoming action game.

Hellblade 2, officially titled Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is set for launch on May 21, 2024. It will be available for PC and Xbox Series S|X. This the first project for Ninja Theory since they have been acquired by Microsoft, so it is a substantial milestone for them. While the studio founder, Tameem has left the company behind, the development of the game was a success and it is finally arriving next week.

With the leadership of the studio under Microsoft and this being the first major project from Ninja Theory, there are a lot of eyes on this project and fans are curious to see how it will fare with the critics. An early comparison between the newly released trailer appears to showcase that the visuals have received a lot of polish improving the overall look and feel of the game.

The review embargo for Hellblade 2 has been revealed. The review codes have been sent out today and along with it, information on the embargo was also shared by Microsoft. According to the information given by Microsoft, the review embargo for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is set to be lifted on May 21 at 1:00 AM PT/9:00 AM BST.

If you are interested in checking out the game, you can also find it available on Xbox Game Pass on launch day. The download size of the game along with the PC system requirements were recently shared by Microsoft. The game will be available on various storefronts for PC including Steam and Windows Store.

Senua’s Sage: Hellblade 2 will be out on May 21, 2024. The game is being developed by Ninja Theory and it is published by Microsoft. The game is set to launch for PC and Xbox Series S|X.
