Arrowhead Game Studios has officially released a minor update for Helldivers 2, version 01.003.102, aimed at improving overall gameplay stability and addressing technical issues reported by the community. This hotfix serves as a preparatory measure to ensure smoother in-game performance before the upcoming weekend, as the development team continues to work on a broader patch expected in the near future.

According to devs, this update focuses on resolving a selection of known problems, with a promise that larger fixes and adjustments are currently under development and will be rolled out in a subsequent patch. Players are thanked for their patience and their service to Super Earth as these improvements are being made.

In addition to the hotfix, Arrowhead has shared a comprehensive list of currently known and confirmed issues within Helldivers 2. The development team clarifies that this list is not exhaustive and focuses strictly on verifiable bugs rather than intentional design choices or balance considerations.   • Stim Pistol and Quasar Cannon currently lack certain sound effects.
  • Terminid enemies fail to spawn during “Evacuate High-Value Assets” missions in City environments when set to Difficulty 4 or lower.

Technical Problems

  • Keybinding settings do not save when using AZERTY or French keyboard layouts after restarting the game.
  • Players using Microsoft IME languages (Korean, Japanese, Chinese) are unable to input corresponding symbols in the chat feature.

Gameplay Bugs

  • Explosives may cause Helldivers hidden behind terrain to ragdoll unexpectedly.
  • Firebomb Hellpods are unable to destroy larger enemy classes such as tanks.
  • Certain weapon scopes display inaccurate field-of-view (FOV) values inconsistent with the weapon model.
  • The Entrenchment tool, when picked up, results in other support weapons appearing as though they are also the Entrenchment tool.
